The Student Summer of Innovation 2015 competitions are now open for entries Elevator site.

At Jisc, we are awarding funding and support to students and start-ups who come up with a brilliant idea for using technology to transform learning or research in further education, universities and work-based learning. In the past, teams have been successful with ideas like bringing together researchers and participants, an app to help people learn languages, and tech to improve lectures.

Last year we had 37 entries, attracting over 8,400 votes from 160 institutions and we hope to encourage even more this year, which is why we've created four competitions to suit different teams including one aimed and Further Education learners and one at apprentices.

Apply by uploading a short video explaining your idea to our Elevator site, where you can also find further details of each competition.

Thank you for your help.  If you have any questions about the competitions, please contact Paul Bailey
