Serving the world: Working for the United Nations

Come along to this informative event about working for the United Nations and to hear directly from John Ericson, Chief of the Outreach Unit in the Office of Human Resources Management of the United Nations Secretariat in New York.

This event will consist of a 45 minute talk followed by a Q&A session.

Civil Service Guest Lecture with Mark Lowcock, Permanent Secretary of DFID

This event aims to inspire future leaders of the Civil Service by giving students the chance to listen to Mark Lowcock, the Permanent Secretary of DFID speak about his professional area of expertise.

In the session Mark will share practical insight and experiences to enrich students’ learning and to enable students to see the bigger picture. Although the event will have a careers slant, it will also be quite academically focused.
