The LTD offers a broad range of workshops that are designed to help you develop your academic skills and realise your full potential. Below is a list of course events that have been scheduled for the following month. Please note that we intend to plan several similar sessions throughout the year. More listings will be published on the LTD website in due course

Courses & Workshops

Please note that these sessions will be repeated several times throughout the year, so don’t worry if you miss one that you wanted to go to. Our workshops operate on a “first-come-first-served” basis – we would hence recommend that you try to attend early in order to secure a space. Individual registrations are not required – feel free to just turn up on the day.

§  how to reference correctly and avoiding plagiarism

This is some of the student feedback that we have had this academic year:

“This 1:1 has really helped me gain confidence - I previously suffered from severe essay block”

“My tutor was incredibly helpful. He gave me constructive advice about my structure and on how I should improve it. He's very motivating too.”

Each tutorial lasts 30 minutes (45 minutes during the summer months for the Taught Masters dissertation) and are given by PhD students.
